Charlie is in summer school. While not a good fit for every child, Charlie does best when his days are orderly and he has regular therapy, so he always gets recommended for the full four days of half-day summer school.
Well, there was a substitute for the start of school and two days ago his regular teacher called to tell me she was officially at work and to chat a little.
While we were on the phone she said to me, “I had no idea he could push himself around in his wheelchair!”
Which is funny because NEITHER DID I.
This kid never ceases to amaze me.
