Five Years

The extremely talented Alexa from Flotsam posted a little piece the other day about how she’s been blogging for five years. I’ve been blogging since late 2005, so not as long as Alexa, but I definitely related to her description of how blogging used to be a rather secretive and perhaps weird thing, and how now it’s become more socially acceptable. I’m assuming this must be true since even my mom reads blogs these days.

Alexa did a little recap and I feel inclined to do one of my own. Please humor me in my nostalgia.

  1. LOL! That potty picture is awesome. We used to sit Stephen on his little potty and let him watch The Backyardigans when we were first starting out with the potty training.

  2. Love it! And wow! It's been that long? I started in Jan 2006. Your life has really gone through some changes! And that picture of Charlie is so hilarious. But I probably said that before.

It's weird to go back and read some of the older stuff. I wish I had the two old blogs I used to have, but they only exist in my computer as word files and stuff. But I gotta get on the stick for 2010. It's over half over and I am nowhere NEAR the qty of posts I had in 09.

Love seeing the little Prince on his throne!

Great Picture! Charlie looks so content!

Now that you mention it, I think you're the blogger most changed that I read on a regular basis. Your blog used to center on "What She Wore" and now centers on special needs and Charlie. You have come full circle, my friend! :)

  7. You sure have grown since I started reading you! In ways most wonderful and magical! I cannot wait to follow you through the next 5 years!

I love this picture of Charlie! I think it would take me awhile to recap my life in numbers since blogging, I started in 2004, just leaving Thailand and entering the next leg of my journey. Something to think about for sure,
