This is a picture of the bathroom we when we looked at the house–we’ve been using that shower curtain.
I’m going to paint the plain wood vanity and change the knobs.
Max feels that his rear end should play a part in all household activities.
I’m going to take down the wall paper border and paint the walls a brighter shade of white–right now they’re a very light blue/gray color. I’ll probably scrape the ceiling while I’m up there and I’m also going to take down the faux stain-glass window.
I’m going to replace the nasty toilet paper holder, the switch covers, and hopefully the mirror.
Sorry for the sideways pic–my SIL’s camera doesn’t auto-correct like mine does.
I’m going with a dark blue and white scheme.
I’ll be trying to update on my progress every Monday!

I love the stained glass! I can't believe you are taking it out. I thought it gave it character, and I like to look at it when I am taking a shower in there. I will not have anthing beautiful to admire while in your shower the next time we visit. Oh, the sadness of it all.
It just doesn't got with anything else I'm trying to do in there. Sorry. . .
Replacing the mirror will do wonders. When you said dark blue and white it reminded me of a display in the Pottery Barn catalog a few months ago. I'm hoping this link works.

You can find some china blue and white accessories, soap dispenser, a silver plate for jewelry, tissue holder, etc. With a silver rimmed mirror, a bright potted plant, maybe a quaint, possibly black light fixture…might be nice. I'm picturing a blue and white stripe shower curtain. What are the plans with the window? Craftsman panes? 1920's leaded glass? Oh, and I'd consider a quick sanding of the cupboard and re-stain a rustic mahogany with antique-bronze hardware. Mahogany and blue, nice combination.
Have fun…don't budgets suck?
Your intended upgrade sounds lovely. I'm also a fan of 1920's interiors.
