See Saw

Well, if I’m going to post every day then y’all are going to get some serious mind dribble.

The journey towards starting my own business is definitely an interesting one. One day I’m feeling on top of the world and the next day I’ve decided that I’m crazy and I need to just toss the whole thing down the drain. It’s tough. I think the hardest part is that I’ve spent my whole life in jobs. Someone told me when to show up, what to, what to wear, and I wasn’t pushing the whole thing along. With this, things are different.

Really, I guess, it’s no different than life: some days you’re up and some days you’re down.

Girl… let me tell you a saying that was in my jeweler’s shop a while back. It said, “Do what you love to do and you will never have to work another day in your life”! Remember that when things get you down and hopefully it might lift your spirits! DO NOT GIVE UP! We believe in you!

I know a financial expert who recently told me that some of the best small businesses have been born during less-than-great economic times. Keep at it! You get to be creative, you get to own your life. I wish I had the talent to do this!

Everyone has days that they don’t know what they’re doing or why they’re doing it. I’m positive that your new business is going to be great!

Just did the same thing myself over the past few years. It’s exhausting. It’s a leap of faith. It doesn’t happen overnight. But, the fact of the matter is, someone who works mowing lawns 8 hours a day making 10$ per hour makes the same amount I do, online, in a couple hours, with zero effort whatsoever. That’s the beauty of it all, I think. :)
