Not Good

My cat has pulled a Houdini. He is not an outside cat, but he is gone. I was transporting him from my car to my house when there was a ruckus that consisted of my dog jumping into the car seat while the baby was still in it. I rushed over to take care of that situation and by the time I had hauled the dog into the house, I realized that the cat was gone. He still has his claws. He has no collar. He has no micro-chip. I live on a busy street and am scared to death.

Perhaps I should be grateful that I’m at the point in my life where I have the energy to worry about something besides my child. That is a luxury that I didn’t always posses. Still. . . I want my Max.

    OOOOHHHH My!!!!
I hope he is on your porch in the morning. He is a smart cat and will want back in the house. Put his food on the porch, that may entice him. He is probably hiding until he feels comfortable to come out.
    Be Brave.

  3. And if he doesn’t come home… just keep an eye for him at all times.

My ex’s room mate let his cat outside by propping the door open. Cody was gone. He was gone for over two months. Ex finally found him less than a mile from the house and brought him home.

He never wasn’t the brightest bulb in the bunch and I realize that Cody had probably only lived there about 1 year before he went missing… but really…

  5. We have three cats and I go completely nuts when i can’t find one of them. We have never had any of ours disappear forever though. They usually pitch up sooner or later.

  6. Aw, I hope he comes back soon…I’ve had a missing cat before and it’s the worst. Hopefully he’s just out exploring and will return when he’s hungry!

I sure hope he turns up! I’ve never had an inside animal, so I can’t imagine what you’re going through but I’m sure he’ll be fine. Cats have great survival skills, especially if he still has his claws. I’m guessing he’s sitting on your porch right now meowing. I hope so anyway.

  8. Hoping he comes home soon!!
