Yawn

What She Wore: old grey t-shirt; blue jean capris; brown strappy sandals. It is WAY too hot to be December.

Well, the Hub drew a line in the sand. He wanted to be moved into the new house by today. More specifically, he wanted to sleep in our new house tonight. Well, no such luck. We’ve got way more crap than will ever fit in this house. We are going to be having a free sale soon. Ever had a free sale? Basically, you get out all the stuff you don’t want and invite your friends and family over to browse. When they leave, you pack the rest of it up and bring it to Goodwill.

I’ve also said that I’m not moving until he gets the cable and the internet set up. Do you know how boring it is to be a stay-at-home mom with no internet or TV? I’d go bonkers in the first three hours.

So, basically, it’s kind of boring around here. Unpacking, getting ready for Christmas and the like.

I know!!! What are you gonna watch while eatin’ bonbons???

  2. The “free sale” sounds fun.

Hope you get moved in soon…I don’t blame you for wanting to wait till you have tv and internet!!

  3. Bon bons? Did someone say bon bons? Now that sounds good, and I hear you on too much crap!

I definitely wouldn’t want to be sittin’ around all day if I had no internet or TV. I mean it’s not like you have unpacking or anything like that to do, right? 😉

  5. I’ve never thought of having a free sale before. Much easier than the whole yard sale business where you have to price and tag everything…Great idea.

Speaking from personal experience, I wouldn’t recommend moving in without being completely hooked up…it’s sad, so sad without it. *shiver*

CONGRATS on your 30 day blogging success! Woohoo! Proud of you girl.

  6. How’s your Mother? Hope she’s alright.

If I still lived out there I’d come to your free sale…and I’d take stuff out of other peoples piles! My best friend hates going to thrift stores with me, she says I see all the good stuff first.

I find I read much more than net or TV. I’m so bleah when it comes to TV. (Except Ugly Betty and Greys…sigh…)

    Good luck to you guys.

Hope the unpacking and such is going okay. Also I hope everything is going well with your mom and she’s well on her way to recovery!

  8. I know exactly how boring it is w/out a tv or internet–my boredom is mostly self-imposed. I feel so guilty watching TV or getting on the computer when Mia is around. Most of my day involves playing Candy Land with Star Wars figurines…but Charlie is too little for such fun right now. So you are right to stand your ground on this one. Hope the move goes smoothly when it does finally happen.
